🎮2. Game

Key Definitions

  • Run Travis Run — a Telegram mini-app runner game.

  • Run — a single game session in which you score points.

  • GEM — in-game coins/points collected during gameplay that determine your position in the weekly ranking.

  • Leaderboard — the weekly ranking table of players (based on GEM).

  • Weekly Rewards — weekly distribution of TRVS rewards among players based on weekly results.

  • Burn — the burning of TRVS (reduction of supply) triggered by purchases and certain in-game actions.

2.1 How to Play and What Counts as a Result

Travis Run is a classic old-school runner: Travis runs along a track, and you control his movements (lane switching, jumping, and sliding), collect in-game coins (GEM), and avoid obstacles. The goal is to achieve the best possible result in a run and collect as many coins as possible.

What is important to understand:

  • You are not playing for just a single run — you accumulate a total weekly result.

  • GEM is the key performance metric — it directly determines your eligibility and share in weekly TRVS rewards.

2.2 GEM: How It Is Earned

GEM are in-game points awarded for activity and performance in Run Travis Run. Essentially, GEM represents a player’s contribution to their position in the weekly leaderboard.

  • GEM is earned through gameplay (your runs and their results, calculated based on the total coins collected and the distance covered during the run).

  • GEM serves as the basis for calculating weekly TRVS rewards.

If the system detects manipulation, multi-accounting, or unfair gameplay, results may be reset and the account may be restricted.

2.3 Leaderboard: How It Works and What Matters

Each week, the game records a snapshot of results — the leaderboard. It shows the total amount of GEM accumulated by each player during the week, and this final total is used to calculate the weekly TRVS distribution.

In practical terms, the higher your weekly GEM, the larger your share of the weekly rewards.

The leaderboard is not just a “race for top-1.” Rewards are distributed proportionally to GEM, so consistent accumulation matters more than a single record-breaking run.

2.4 Weekly Rewards: How and When TRVS Is Distributed (soon)

Weekly Rewards is the weekly distribution of TRVS tokens among players.

How It Works

  • During the week, you play and accumulate GEM.

  • At the end of the week, the leaderboard results are finalized.

  • The reward pool allocated for that week is distributed among players proportionally to the GEM they earned.

The reward distribution follows a progressive schedule. A total of 35% of the project’s token supply is allocated for rewards and will be distributed among players over a period of 3 years.

Rewards are distributed every Monday at 7:00 GMT. The TRVS reward will appear as a transaction in the mini-app under the “Wallet” section.

2.5 In-Game Shop

Travis Run includes an in-game shop that allows players to enhance their gameplay experience and progression.

The shop logic is simple:

  • Some items and upgrades can be purchased with GEM.

  • Others are available for TRVS.

Purchases made with TRVS typically cover the most desirable items, such as:

  • Customization options and cosmetic items

  • Special in-game statuses

  • Access to exclusive features (if introduced)

  • Travis Pass

2.6 Wheel of Fortune

A free mechanic available once per day to every player, offering prizes such as additional GEM, TRVS, or free items from the in-game shop.

2.7 Missions (soon)

Missions are a set of tasks related directly to gameplay, as well as to everything connected with Travis.

They can be divided into two main categories:

Game-related — focused on achieving specific in-game results, such as reaching a certain score or performing a number of actions (e.g., 1000 rolls). Completion depends entirely on gameplay.

They contain two subcategories:

  • Progress tracked across multiple runs (e.g., accumulate a total of 1000 GEM across several sessions).

  • Tasks that must be completed within a single game session or within a limited number of sessions (examples: earn 1000 GEM in one session, or complete three consecutive runs with at least 500 GEM in each).

Ecosystem — involve interaction within Travis but are not directly tied to gameplay. Examples: subscribe to the Telegram channel, log into the game 30 consecutive times, invite 420 friends.

Missions can also be divided by the time frame given for completion:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

  • Seasonal

  • Permanent

Travis Pass holders gain access to additional missions.

2.8 Seasons

The game Travis Run features a seasonal update system. Seasons are not only updates to the application itself, but also a logical narrative development of the game world, expressed through character and event progression.

In general, each new season introduces the following updates:

  • Story development

  • Introduction of new large-scale mechanics that may change gameplay

  • New missions available only during that specific season

Some mechanics may be exclusive to a particular season and removed in future ones. This is designed to create a unique gameplay experience each season.

Each season lasts longer than one month. Before a new season begins, players receive hints about upcoming events, followed by more detailed information closer to launch.

The seasonal system does not replace regular intermediate updates. Seasons primarily represent a new gameplay experience and the continued development of the Travis Run world.
